Kimbark Elementary School Playground

  • Worked with Kimbark Elementary to create a dual-use playground in 2007
    • $50,000 allocated to project

Glen Helen Regional Park Improvements

  • Built zero-depth water playground and shade structures
  • Made extensive improvements to park entrance
    • Improved landscaping
    • Added trails
    • Added restroom and picnic area


  • Formed Community Emergency Response Team for the Devore Community
  • Provided a trailer to store emergency equipment
  • Trailer contains supplies such as backboards, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and blankets
  • Located at Devore Fire Station

Glen Helen Grade Separation

  • Working to complete grade separation project
    • $650,000 spent so far on environmental, design work
    • Expected to cost $26 million
    • Dual Use – New crossing will go over railroad tracks and Cajon Creek

Neighborhood Watch

  • Provided funds to place Neighborhood Watch and “Welcome to Devore” signs in the community
