Rancho Cucamonga Results

North Etiwanda Preserve – October 2009

  • Opened 1,200-acre nature preserve in north Rancho Cucamonga
  • Project cost – $1.7 million
  • Enhanced trail system
  • Added signage, shade areas, parking lot

Rancho Cucamonga Library

  • Provided $1 million to support construction of new Rancho Cucamonga library

Senior Transportation

  • Provided $500,000 to start up the “Silver Fox” – a senior bus service
  • Allocated $75,000 to replace bus destroyed in vehicle fire

Fire Station

  • Worked with city to develop a site for a new fire station in northern Rancho Cucamonga

Joint-Use Police Sub-Station

  • Working with the City to build a 15,000 sq. ft. police substation that could be used by Rancho Cucamonga PD and Sheriff’s Deputies

Etiwanda Avenue

  • Partnered with City of Rancho Cucamonga to repair portion of Etiwanda Avenue
  • Cost – $881,000
